Dual Clutch Transmission Service Kit for BMW

A basic service kit that will allow you to service your BMW's Getrag GS7D36BG or GS7D36SG dual clutch transmission

BMW claims that the dual clutch transmission does not require fluid changes or services. However, most repair professionals and avid enthusiasts agree that while the fluid fill has long life properties, it will still need to be replaced at some point. We personally believe that cars that are driven hard will likely benefit more from the occasional transmission service.

This kit is designed for a basic drain and fill service where the OEM fluid is replaced with Motul's high performance fluid. Motul Multi DCTF is especially suitable for Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) supplied by ZF, GETRAG or BORG WARNER, all of which are used by BMW. Without a GT1 or equivalent diagnostic tool it is impossible to get all of the fluid out of the transmission. Completing a basic drain and fill service does not require any special tools or equipment.
