Featuring a 4.3” colour touchscreen, 10 Hz GPS receiver and the ability to run multiple applications on the same hardware, the VBOX Touch is our most versatile data logger yet.

With its user-friendly interface, the VBOX Touch is ideal for carrying out performance tests such as acceleration and deceleration, using one of the pre-configured tests or by configuring your own. The VBOX Touch can also be used as a speedometer or lap timer and provides accurate logging of performance, speed and position data.

You can instantly see test results on the large, daylight readable touchscreen or if you would like to analyse your data in more detail, you can do so using dedicated plugins and visual aids such as charts, graphs and tables in VBOX Test Suite; our user-friendly, intuitive data analysis software.

Designed around a new philosophy from RACELOGIC to make access to the latest testing applications as quick, flexible and easy as possible, VBOX Touch applications are written in Python script. We will be releasing a number of different scripts covering many diverse types of tests, enabling you to create your own applications to solve your specific testing needs.

Applications

You can use the VBOX touch as a lap timer or for testing Performance, including:

  • Acceleration
  • Deceleration
  • Speed

As VBOX Touch apps are written in Python script, you can also write your own test scripts allowing new programs to be loaded into the device simply by inserting a new SD card. At any time, you can simply revert back to the standard functionality of the VBOX Touch by using the SD card containing the original data. This flexibility extends to user applications, allowing you to create your own test script.
